Guardian of The Elements

And here comes our favourite princess dragon!

Guess I wanted to give him his own little spotlight. Also, I got my photoshop back, so I used the opportunity to enchance him a bit. (hence the wait)

Thus... headcanon! Because why the heck not. ._.
Since the girls have been grated with the power of the Elements and became pretty much the only hope for Equestria (because there are basically NO other three princesses with wicked powers around, yeah), the Elements became quite important to them. But, because they can't afford to run around with them constantly glued to their necks, there needs to be somebody who will take care of them and keep an eye on them whenever they aren't in use. And who is more reliable (screw the implications from the show) than a magical dragon with magical Celestia-connected-to flame? (Of course, the show implies he's clumsy and greedy and all that stuff, but honestly, he's just a kid and he's basically learning about stuff like the mane six did. I like to believe that he's suited for one of the most important jobs connected to guarding the Harmony, especially in the future. That, and he's a dragon. I really, really like dragons.)
Also, Spike was present there when girls received their cutie marks. And that kinda makes him double special not only to them, but to the elemental magic as well imo.
Plus, I like to believe that, given he was hatched with the help of Twilight's magic, he developed some kind of a magical connection with Twilight. He already has one with Celestia and apparently Luna as well, so why not?

Anyways. Have some serious Spike using some pyrokinetic/firebender powers against... whoever there may be trying to get their hands on the elements.
